HEAT (Bottom): Press and hold button for 2-seconds to activate heat, press twice to activate second heat level.
How To Use for Breast Massage:
Hold the massager in one hand and gently rub the vibrator towards your nipple. Do this all around your breast. Any patches of density may indicate a clog or mastitis.
It is the high frequency of vibration that will release clogs, ensure you are gentle.
Use the narrower end of the vibrator to apply light pressure inwards towards a clog for a more targeted vibration.
Avoid the heat setting on your breasts, as this can cause further inflammation. The heat setting is for your neck and shoulders and tight spots you may have from feeding or holding your baby.
If mastitis-like symptoms persist or you have any nipple cracks, see a doctor as this could indicate a bacterial infection rather than just a clog or non-bacterial mastitis. Bacterial mastitis is when bacteria found on skin or saliva enter breast tissue through a milk duct or crack in the skin.
For more information on mastitis, visit our knowledge base or ask your doctor, a lactation consultant or women’s physiotherapist.
How To Clean:
The Vibes is totally waterproof, you can even use it in the shower or bath. To wash, use warm soapy water. You can even sterilise it in a dry UV Steriliser.
